This and the eleven photographs below depict homes in Palisades. The images were photographed on September 18, 2011 with a single roll of Kodak Tri-X 400 black-and-white film using a Leica R9 camera with 15mm Super-Elmarit lens. |

Early homes in Palisades were often located by roads that had originated as trails along streams. Fenced ramps or walkways still cover remnants of streambeds. |

This home is situated about five feet below street level. As such the perspective highlighting the roof was easily taken from the sidewalk adjacent to the building. |
